Natasha McGregor
Hi!
My name is Natasha. I have been a Physiotherapist for 11 years since graduating from Dalhousie University with a Masters in Physiotherapy in 2014. Prior to my Masters, I did my Bachelor of Science Degree with a Minor in Health Sciences at St. Francis Xavier University where I graduated from in 2009. I have taken continuing education courses in chronic pain, nerve injuries and mobility, thoracic pain, concussions, upper extremity conditions, the GLAAD osteoarthritis course, acupuncture, reiki and mindfulness courses.
I will be focusing on hands-on treatment with manual therapy techniques, assisting in stretching/mobility and providing one-on-one guidance while performing your exercises for the best chance of success. I offer cupping, heat/ice, ++education and provide acupuncture as inflammation control and symptom management.
I do not routinely offer ultrasound, IFC or other similar modalities in my treatments. While they may provide temporary relief, I believe that they can sometimes create a false sense of improvement and promotes outsourcing your pain relief making it easier to skip the exercises and habits that lead to lasting change.
My goal is to help you learn how to manage your symptoms independently and gain a deeper understanding of your body. Together, we’ll focus on strategies that empower you to take control of your recovery and long-term health.
I am now in a place where I want to combine my physiotherapy knowledge with some of my personal growth based knowledge of mindfulness, intention, communication and nervous system regulation!
I hope that by offering longer one-on-one session times, you as the client will also get more out of the intentionality that I am putting behind my practice through the quality of treatment you get!!
FUN Facts: I love nature and am a huge advocate for the environment and for using nature to improve wellbeing. I don’t play sports but I do love hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing, paddle-boarding. I love to read, mostly books I can learn from but I do enjoy books with fantasy and some sort of magic or powers. I am currently really interested in metaphysics, spirituality and other witchy things ;) I love cats, board games, coffee, craft beer and as a Queer person I am a fierce advocate for the LGBTQ+ community!.

Lauren Richardson
Lauren is trained to treat a variety of conditions and her caseload includes everything from pelvic health, abdominal issues, prenatal and postpartum health, sports injuries, musculoskeletal, neurological and paediatric conditions. After having her two kids, she developed a passion for pelvic health and treating musculoskeletal conditions. She is a firm believer that the more people know about their journey, in pregnancy and postpartum, the smoother the journey will be. Lauren has a gift for connecting with her patients and strives to create an environment for her clients to feel heard and validated as they navigate their road to recovery. Her approach to physiotherapy focuses on looking at the patient as a whole to get to the root of the problem and includes the use of manual therapy, patient education, dry needling and a strong element of therapeutic exercise. Lauren believes in the importance of understanding your specific goals and tailoring evidence-based treatment. Lauren graduated from the University of New Brunswick in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She then ventured to Edmonton where she completed her Masters in Physiotherapy in 2010. After graduating, she worked in one of the only stand alone rehab centers in the country, The Glenrose Rehab Hospital in Edmonton, working primarily in neurology and pediatrics. Beyond physiotherapy, Lauren enjoys spending time with family and friends, being out in nature, downhill and cross-country skiing and exploring the beautiful Atlantic provinces. Fun fact- a way to Lauren’s heart is through a bag of jube jubes!
